To help you enjoy your time at the festival without having your hands full, a Wine Check Tent will be set up in the Wine Garden. After purchasing bottles or cases of wine, the Wine Check Tent will be available to drop off wine purchases and to pick them up on your way out of the festival.

That's right—the beer. Wegmans will be hosting the New York State Craft Beer Tent, located in the Wine Garden. For $10, festival goers will have the opportunity to sample beer from local breweries while enjoying live music. With 4 music venues from the City Pier to Steamboat Landing, music lovers will have plenty of music to love!

Festival favorites Nik and the Nice Guys will be returning this year with a performance on the City Pier at the Canandaigua Rotary Pier Festival, and don't forget about the local acts all weekend long!

Just imagine taking a stroll along the lake to Steamboat Landing to sip some wine, relax and listen to the grooves of live music on the outdoor patio. This festival really does have it all!

There will be live music all day long (both days!) as we celebrate a beautiful summer weekend on the shores of Canandaigua Lake.

25 awards will be given, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd place along with trophies for "Show Stoppers."

Finger Lakes Riesling Festival

August 11–12, 2012

Lakeshore Drive & Pier, Canandaigua, NY

(Wine Garden opens at noon on Sunday)

Lakeshore Drive will be closed to traffic from the City Pier to Steamboat Landing, giving visitors free and easy access to all the various vendors, shows, cooking demonstrations and activities.

Parking will be available in the Parkway Plaza, the former Wegmans Plaza and the CMAC parking lot at Finger Lakes Community College. A free shuttle service for festival goers who park in the CMAC parking lot will be available.  Shuttle Services provided by CATS - http://www.co.ontario.ny.us/transit/

Handicapped parking will be located in the parking lot behind the Hess gas station on the corner of Lakeshore Drive and Muar Street.

First Aid
The Excellus BlueCross BlueShield First Aid Tent will be set up with trained medical technicians from the Canandaigua Emergency Squad to assist with any medical needs.

Donations and sponsorship money help to benefit the Canandaigua Family Y's Caring for Kids Campaign. Caring for Kids ensures all individuals have an opportunity to utilize the Y’s facilities and programs. Year after year, the program helps adults and children who would otherwise be unable to attend the Y.

In 2010, more than $78,000 helped pay for kids, adults, teens and seniors to attend the Y, and $31,600 of that was raised from the Finger Lakes Riesling Festival!

 Monies raised helped the following:

• 548 kids - were given the chance to thrive in preschool, child care classes, sports, swim classes and so much more

• 480 adults - were given the opportunity to get healthy and maintain a healthy lifestyle

• 12 seniors - continued to stay active and keep moving because of the SilverSneakers Program

• 7 young adults - turned to the teen center for a safe, after-school environment with other kids their age

Festival goers can make donations on site.
